The rain and sunshine equals a golf course in awesome condition!
The Pairs and Spares golfers met on Sunday for a four-person scramble on Sunday, May 31. The first -place team with a 34 was Billy and Lana Robinson and John and Deb Porter. Second place went to Stu and Becky Kelley and Ola and Di Tucker with a 35. There was a tie for third with each team having a 36.
The teams were Greg Douglas, Brenda Carmen, Scott and Kim Savage and the team of Brandon Savage, Greg Gayne, Ricky and April Bates. Pairs and Spares golfers will meet this Sunday at 2:30 p.m. (Please note the time change). Join them for a fun filled afternoon. Entry fee is $2.50.
Don’t forget Ladies Day Golf and clinic each Tuesday! This free clinic will start at 9 a.m. and be followed by a varied golf scrambles, best ball and more at 10 a.m. Come join Dave as he provides some valuable golf tips and then play nine with some wonderful, fun women! The first Ladies’ Day clinic will be on putting, with a scramble starting at 10:30 a.m. Come to either or both.
