    EASTHAM, MA & PRESQUE ISLE, ME – Daniel A. Patterson, 66, passed away surrounded by his family on May 31, 2015, at Massachusetts General Hospital. He was born October 27, 1948, in Presque Isle, the son of Alfred “Gus” and Constance (Laflin) Patterson.
    He graduated from Presque Isle High School and Ricker College. He managed the family owned Limestone IGA Foodliner for 27 years and was “Hometown Proud.” Danny brought his amazing work ethic with him from Maine to Cape Cod. He opened and managed Mac’s Seafood Market in Eastham. His most rewarding job was being a Dad. He enjoyed watching his family grow and making memories that they will surely never forget.
    He is survived by his loving wife, Denise Patterson of Eastham, MA; daughter, Amanda Young, husband, David and their children, Jonathan, Nicholas, Corbin and Evelyn; son, Daniel Patterson, wife, Jodie and their daughter, Eliza; son, Kyle Patterson, wife, Ashley and their daughter, Gracelyn; son, Branden Patterson; daughter, Kassie Patterson and her daughter, Khloe; mother, Constance “Connie” Patterson; sister, Constance “Nan” Carmichael and husband, Barry; brother, David Patterson; and brother, Joseph Patterson and wife, Mariah.
    He was predeceased by his father, Alfred “Gus” Patterson; and brother, Stephen Patterson.
    Family and friends called 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2015, at Nickerson Funeral Home in Orleans, MA. His funeral was held at Nauset Baptist Church in Eastham, MA, on Friday, June 5, 2015, at 11 a.m. Family and friends gathered following the ceremony for a light lunch and to share memories.
