    GREENIER, Joseph E. “Eddie”, 84, PRESQUE ISLE, June 7, 2015. A graveside service with military honors will be held 10 a.m., Friday, June 12, at the Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou. Arrangements are under the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.

    PRESQUE ISLE – Joseph E. “Eddie” Greenier, 84, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, June 7, 2015, at a Presque Isle health care facility. He was born January 4, 1931, in Fort Fairfield, the son of Charles E. and Ella (Golding) Greenier.  American-Flag-Color
    He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
    “Eddie” worked many years as a truck driver and service person at Agway Inc. Petroleum Dept. in Presque Isle. He was an avid fisherman.
    He is survived by a son, Carl Greenier and a daughter, Marie Dickinson, both of Presque Isle; a brother, Robert Greenier of NH; a sister, Marjorie Evans of Niceville, FL; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three close friends, Merle McPherson, Donna Foote and Jo An McLellan, all of Presque Isle. “Eddie” was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Beatrice “Bea” (Charette) Greenier in 2002; three brothers, Frank, Dick and Charlie; and a sister, Freda Murphy.
    The family wishes to thank all the staff at the Presque Isle Rehab and Nursing for all the great care and support.
    A graveside service with military honors will be held 10 a.m., Friday, June 12, 2015, with Pastor Donald Morton Jr. officiating at the Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou.
