    BUCHANAN, Philip R., 88, PRESQUE ISLE, June 4, 2015. A graveside service with Military honors will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle. Arrangements are under the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.

    PRESQUE ISLE – Philip R. Buchanan, 88, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2015, at a Presque Isle health care facility. He was born December 1, 1926, in Presque Isle, the son of Earl and Madalyn (Rediker) Buchanan. 
    He served in the U.S. Army.
    Phil worked for Agway, Inc. and retired after 32 years. He continued to work at his home on small engines for his family and friends.
    He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Clark) Buchanan of Presque Isle; his children, Robert Buchanan of Portland, OR, Deborah Saucier and Lori Sharpe, both of Presque Isle, Lisa Moriata of Elgin, TX, and Mark Buchanan of Portland, OR; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five step-children, Jackie Webber of FL, Debra Watananuchit of Presque Isle, Lorri Rodgers of FL, Michael McHugh of Cornith, and Kellie Currier of NH; 12 step -grandchildren; 11 step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
    He was predeceased by a son, Stephen Buchanan; his parents; and four sisters, Marjorie Bishop, Patricia Buchanan, Marilyn Tardie and Delores Raymond.
