What a fabulous and busy weekend at VaJoWa!
The Pairs and Spares golfers met on Sunday for a scramble. Three teams came in with a score of 34. Since the team of Ricky and April Bates and Kim and Scott Savage got birdies on the hardest holes, they received the honor of first place. The tie for second went to the teams of Ted and Terry Pettengill and Jon and Betty Smallwood,
as well as Stu and Becky Kelley and Brenda. It was a great turnout with 31 golfers participating. Pairs and Spares golfers will meet this Sunday at 2:30 p.m. (Please note the time change). Join them for a fun filled afternoon. Entry fee is $2.50.
Don’t forget Ladies’ Day Golf and Clinic each Tuesday! This free clinic will start at 9 a.m. and be followed by a varied golf scrambles. Next week will be putting. The clinic is a rain or shine event. Hope to see you.
