Chamber serves up berry desserts June 25
PRESQUE ISLE — The Central Aroostook Chamber of Commerce is making plans for its annual Strawberry Shortcake Day, to be held Thursday, June 25.
Chamber members will design and deliver the popular confections, featuring juicy strawberries, whipped cream and fluffy biscuits, at their booth located in the North Street Plaza from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. The event will take place rain or shine.
For those who can’t get away from the office, the CACC will deliver orders of 10 or more to businesses located in Presque Isle, Easton, Mars Hill, Mapleton, Caribou or Fort Fairfield. Deliveries will be made between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Shortcakes are $3.50 each. Order forms may be found at the chamber office, 3 Houlton Rd., Presque Isle, or online at centralaroostookchamber.com.
