Kelley, Gary L., 79, June 11, 2015.  Funeral services will be held today at 1 p.m. at the Mockler Funeral Home.  Interment to be held at the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou.  A time of continued fellowship will be at the Caribou Assembly of God Activity Center, Caribou.  Arrangements by Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou.

American Flag ColorAR Gary Kelley WOODLAND – Gary L. Kelley, 79, went home to be with his Lord June 11, 2015, at his Woodland residence. He was born in Caribou, April 1, 1936, the son of the late Roy and Olive (Wright) Kelley.
    Mr. Kelley served with the U.S. Air Force, and was a member and past Post Commander of the Perkins Plourde Post 136 American Legion in Stockholm and also served as past State American Legion Chaplain. Mr. Kelley was employed by Delta Airlines as well as Bar Harbor Airlines prior to his employment by the State of Maine DHS as a food inspector.
    He married Jo Ann Wedberg December 24, 1977. Gary attended the Amazing Grace Church in Canada as well as the Bethel Pentecostal Church in Caribou. He was a member of Caribou Lodge No. 170 A.F. & A.M., was a 32nd degree Mason and was also a member of the Anah Temple Shrine.
    Surviving in addition to his wife, Jo Ann of Woodland, are four sons, Galen Kelley of New Hampshire, Leon Kelley of Portland, Gary Kelley Jr. and wife, Robin, of Santa Ana, CA, Richard McCormick and wife, Cheri, of Bangor; five daughters, Carol Carmichael of Mars Hill, Arleen Menard and husband, Randy, of Kingman, AZ, Debbie Tracy and husband, Wayne, of Henderson, NV, Susan Niles of Bangor, and Katherine Poisson of Limestone; two step-children, Debbie Russell of Washington and William Wolfe of Oregon; a daughter-in-law, Katie Feldman of New York, 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews including special nieces, Alexis Ward and husband, Larry, of Caribou and Peggy Swan of Van Buren, two special nephews, Larry Jones and wife, Isabella, of Springfield, OR, Michael Lajoie and wife, Kathy, of Caribou; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Hartley and Cheryl Wedberg and Alton and Judy Wedberg. Mr. Kelley was predeceased by a son, Richard Feldman; two sisters, Hazel Lindgren and Virginia Fosdick; two sons-in-law, Michael Poisson and Roger Niles; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Charlie and Madeline Wedberg.
    Friends called at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2015, where evening memorial services were  conducted by the officers and members of the Perkins Plourde Post American Legion followed by  Masonic Memorial Services at 6:30 p.m. by the officers and members of Caribou Lodge. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2015, from the chapel of the Mockler Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Dee assisted by Rev. Roger Jewell and Rev. Ron Rosser, officiating. Interment will be in the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery.
