PATTEN – Shawna Maker-Chickering, 33, went to be with our Lord and Savior on June 2, 2015. She was born May 12, 1982, in Millinocket, Maine, the daughter of Teresa Lord and stepfather, Dwaine Lord.
Shawna was a hard worker at several restaurants. Most recently, she was the cook at the Rockland Cafe. She loved and was loved by her boss, Wayne, his wife, Carla and her coworkers. Shawna was a loving mother of two beautiful boys, Cole and Hunter Chickering.
She is survived by her children, Cole and Hunter; parents; one amazing sister, January Peavey; niece and nephew, Hannah and Connor Maxcy; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was pre-deceased by her grand-parents, George & Lottie Peavey and Ronald & Alma Stairs, as well as a stepsister, Serena Jo Lord. Chick was loved by so many people: Becca, Amanda L., Amanda, Keith, Corrisa and Emily, just to name a few.
