Caribou Technology Center (CTC) seniors Bria Judd and Ricky Perry earned certification as Certified Guest Services Professionals (CGSP).
Judd and Perry were students in the business and marketing program at the CTC in Caribou this year and were DECA State Champions. They also participated in the International Career and Development Competition this spring where they sat for the certification test in addition to the standard competitions. “This certification focuses on a student’s knowledge in various aspects of hospitality and tourism management issues and will help distinguish them in the business field when they enter the work force,” Reed Nonken, the CTC Business instructor said. “This certification shows the strength of the CTC’s programs with students who are motivated to work hard and prove their abilities.”
Judd will be attending BYU for business and marketing this fall and Perry has been accepted at Husson for the 5-year MBA program.
