Frederick Lewis Finnemore
WOODLAND – Frederick Lewis Finnemore, 71, passed away June 18, 2015, at his Woodland residence with his family by his side. He was born in Caribou on September 28, 1943, the son of the late Lewis and Mary (Burgess) Finnemore.
He attended the Caribou Schools and on August 22, 1967, he married Gloria Barnum. Mr. Finnemore served with the 152nd Field Artillery Army National Guard for over 20 years and was employed as a carpenter for J.P. Martin Construction for many years. Fred was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Woodland and was also a member of the Aroostook Valley ATV Club.
Mr. Finnemore is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Mike Lizotte of Appomattox, VA, and Lynda and Jay Gustafson of Woodland; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Stephanie Finnemore of Topeka, KS; one sister, Lorraine Hobbs of Houlton; his grandchildren, Miranda and Cameron Lizotte of Appomattox, VA, Derek Fox of Norfolk, VA, Jared Fox of Woodland, and Matthew and Elizabeth Finnemore, both of Topeka, KS; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Finnemore was predeceased by his wife, Gloria, on December 18, 2014.
Friends called at the Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou, from 1 p.m. Sunday June 21, 2014, until time of services at 3 p.m. from the funeral home with Rev. Ron Rosser, officiating. Interment was in the Woodland Cemetery. www. mocklerfuneralhome.com
