Elliot Lycette, 71, was born as Mervin Gilbert Wilcox to the late Gilbert and Ella Mae (Lorom) Wilcox on August 10, 1943, and was adopted by Leland and Bessie (Litchfield) Lycette.
Besides both sets of his parents, he was predeceased by three biological sisters, Sylvia (Wilcox), Canning, Bonnie (Wilcox Herring) Graffam, Marrie (Wilcox Cleaves) Fannan, and one biological brother, Wesley Wilcox.
He is survived by his children, Kenneth Woodruff Jr. of Friendship, NY, Renee and Robert Stevens of Fairmont, WV, Leland and Michelle Lycette of Hopewell, VA and Roberta and Kenny Hazzard of Little Plymouth, VA; one sister, Greta (Wilcox Irish) and Gary Taylor of Merrill, ME; one brother, Richard and Peggy Lycette of York, PA; one uncle, Harold Lycette of Portland; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services will be held at the Amity cemetery, Rt. 1, on July 5, 2015 at 12:30 p.m.
