Bean hole bean supper
The Squapan Outing Club will be hosting its annual bean hole bean supper at Scopan Lake on Saturday, July 11 from 4-6 p.m.
The menu will consist of bean hole beans, barbecue chicken pieces or hot dogs, coleslaw, potato salad, drink and homemade dessert. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children under 12.
New this year will be a mini craft fair featuring quality handmade crafts made by camp owners, including wood crafts, primitives, and other unique items. Also on sale during the event will be Squapan Outing Club souvenirs – shirts, hats, mugs, totes, travel mugs and duffel bags. Entertainment will be provided by Fireman Fred Parsons.
Annual business meeting
The Squapan Outing Club will hold its annual business meeting for all camp owners on Sunday, July 12 at Dave and Phyllis McIntyre’s camp beginning at 10 a.m.
Among the agenda items will be voting to fill four board of directors’ positions. All camp owners in the area are encouraged to attend.

Church luncheon
The Mapleton United Methodist Church will host its monthly luncheon Friday, July 3 at 11:30 a.m. at the church.
