Historical society holding raffle for quilt

The 2015 Raffle Quilt will benefit Salmon Brook Historical Society and its museums – Wilder Homestead and Agricultural Museum located at 17 Main Street. Tickets are available at $1 each or six for $5.
If you would like to purchase tickets on the quilt, you may send money for the tickets to Rita Kingsbury, PO Box 475, Washburn, ME 04786. Please include your name and phone number. Upon receipt of your money. Rita will make out the books of tickets and deposit them for you. The drawing is scheduled for October, 2015.
Miss Washburn pageants
The 2015 Miss Washburn pageants are scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 1 at 7 p.m. and all five titles will be decided at that one pageant. The cost of tickets is $8 if purchased before the day of the pageant and $10 if purchased at the door. Tickets are available from any contestant or contact Kelly Hemphill at 488-4979.
