    KOTSIKOROS, Starlene M., 63, PRESQUE ISLE & HUDSON, June 20, 2015. Graveside service will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, July 11, 2015, at Fairmount Cemetery. Following the service there will be a celebration of Star’s life.

    PRESQUE ISLE & HUDSON – Starlene M. Kotsikoros, 63, a devoted mother, grandmother and sister, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 9, 1952, in Winterport, the daughter of Gordon and Joan (Stairs) Lawless.
    Star worked as a CNA at the Mars Hill Nursing Home for 16 years then went into home health care. Her grandchildren were her whole world.
    We would really like to thank Dr. Niel Ghandi and his staff at Center For Family Medicine of Bangor for the excellent care they gave to Star.
    She is survived by a daughter, Tammy Schillinger and her husband, Tom of Valatie, NY; a son, David Kotsikoros and his significant other, Tara St. Louis of Bangor; five sisters: Susan Jarvais and her husband, Ronald of Virginia Beach, VA, Patty Corriveau and her husband, Jerry of Yucaipa, CA, Jean Brown of Presque Isle, Gail McNerney and her husband, Kevin of Hudson, and Cathy Kennedy and her husband, James of Stafford Springs, Conn.; two brothers: Paul Hart Jr. of Bangor and Andrew Kinney and his wife, Diana of Presque Isle; three grandchildren: Olona Schillinger of Valatie, NY, Dean Kotsikoros of Bangor, and Taylor Bradstreet and his mother, Amanda of Mars Hill; two aunts: Mildred Hirst of Longhorne, Penn, and Iris Brown of Presque Isle; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
    In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters: Alice Lawless and Tela Hart; an aunt, Dapheen McPherson; three uncles: Ervin Brown, William Hirst and Dale Stairs; a nephew, Jeffrey Hart; and two step-fathers, Paul Hart Sr. and Clifford Cote.
    Graveside service will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, July 11, 2015, at Fairmount Cemetery with Pastor David McCausland officiating. Following the service there will be a celebration of Star’s life which will be announced after the service.
