CARIBOU — A 44-year-old Mars Hill woman accused of selling bath salts out of her home is among people indicted by the Aroostook County grand jury on June 5.

Leda L. Giggey was indicted on charges of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, unlawful trafficking of scheduled drugs (two counts), and criminal forfeiture, according to District Attorney Todd Collins.  The drugs allegedly were found after the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency conducted a lengthy investigation in Aroostook County, Steve McCausland, spokesman for the state department of public safety, said in a news release.
Drug agents, along with deputies from the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office, searched Giggey’s home in April and seized a small amount of bath salts, numerous prescription pills, including oxycodone, about $1,500 in suspected drug proceeds, and other evidence of drug trafficking, McCausland reported.
