Troop F Report

    HOULTON — The Maine State Police Troop F division responded to the following incidents from Sunday, June 28 to Sunday, July 5.

Sunday, June 28
    Trooper Sucy conducted a bail check in Littleton of a subject on bail for domestic violence assault. A male was found in violation of his conditions and was charged with violation of condition of release. Trooper Darcy assisted trooper Sucy.
    Trooper Hafford responded to St. Agatha for a woods camp that had been damaged sometime in the past two weeks. There was little evidence at the scene, but the investigation is ongoing.

Monday, June 29
    Trooper Darcy served a Patten woman with two criminal trespass notices on behalf of Jerry’s Thriftway in Island Falls and Ellis IGA in Patten. The woman had been previously charged with writing bad checks at both locations.
    Trooper Levesque responded to Frenchville for a report of damage at a local Boy Scout camp. Unknown person or persons had broken several windows at the camp and damaged a door, Trooper Hafford responded as an ERT to process the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
    Trooper Darcy investigated a burglary of an Amish shed in Sherman. The investigation is ongoing.

Tuesday, June 30
    Trooper Stoutamyer responded to a two vehicle crash where one of the occupants was trapped in a vehicle. Sixty-year-old James Gaughan of Baldwin was traveling north on Route 11 in Nashville Plantation when 32 year old Troy Theriault attempted to cross Route 11 in front of Gaughan’s vehicle and pulled out in front of him. Gaughan’s vehicle collided with Theriault’s totaling both vehicles. Theriault was not injured, but Gaughan sustained a broken wrist, arm, collarbone, several broken ribs, pelvis, and femur. None of the injuries was life threatening but due the severity of his multiple broken bones, Gaughan was flown to Bangor for treatment.
    Troopers Sylvia and Endre responded to a family fight in Hodgdon where a husband was reportedly not giving his wife her keys. No crime committed and parties were separated.
    Trooper Endre charged a 29-year-old Houlton man with operating after suspension stemming from a traffic stop in Bridgewater.

Wednesday, July 1
    Trooper Bell investigated two burglaries of motor vehicles in Hodgdon where car windows were broken and items stolen. The investigation is ongoing.
    Trooper Darcy charged a Patten man with operating after suspension as the result of a traffic stop in Stacyville.

Thursday, July 2
    Trooper Marquis was called out to a residence in St. Francis for a possible domestic. As a result of the investigation a man was warned for disorderly conduct.
    Trooper Lilley was traveling on Interstate 95 when he noticed a pickup was gaining on him and then passed him at a speed of 95 mph. Trooper Lilley stopped the pickup and as it was pulling to the shoulder, a passenger threw two bottles out the window. The male passenger, who had been drinking, told Trooper Lilley that they were in a hurry to get home and the driver wouldn’t stop for him to use the bathroom so he had been filling up empty bottles. Trooper Lilley had the passenger pick up the bottles and put them back in the truck, he summonsed the passenger for littering. Trooper Lilley also summonsed one other passenger for possession of marijuana after a search. The operator was summonsed for the speeding.

Friday, July 3
    Trooper Sylvia charged a 25-year-old Danforth man with criminal speed, 92/55 on Route 1 in Weston.
    Trooper Levesque responded to a burglary of a camp in Woodland where several musical instruments and tools were taken. The investigation is ongoing.
    Trooper Marquis and Sgt. Haines responded to the McIntyre Road in Woodland for a report of a man being threatened with a gun. The complainant was unable to be reached on his cell after the initial call and is well known to law enforcement as a drug abuser. Three witnesses at the residence contradicted the complainants report and advised he mentioned having a gun. The man will be served a trespass warning when he is located.
    Trooper Sucy stopped a male subject for speeding, 77 mph in a 55 mph zone and discovered his license was under suspension. The male was summonsed for the speed violation and operating after suspension.
    Trooper Sylvia issued a trespass warning to a 54-year-old Houlton man at the request of a Linneus storeowner. The man was cooperative, but is suffering from mental illness and scaring customers.
    Sgt. Haines was activated as a member of the Tactical Team on the Parkman incident.

Sunday, July 5
    Trooper Quint responded to a burglary of a church in New Limerick where items were stolen. An investigation is ongoing.
