PIHS yearbook honored
The Presque Isle High School yearbook staff has been recognized by publisher Balfour Yearbooks with a “Featured” recognition for its outstanding contribution to scholastic journalism.
The 2014 PIHS annual, under the helm of adviser Marcie Young, is showcased in the 2015 Yearbook Yearbook, in which Balfour highlights notable editions of the school memory books.
“Congratulations on capturing the moments of the year in words and pictures,” said Marilyn Scoggins, Yearbook Yearbook editor. “Your yearbook is a mirror that reflects your students’ lives. Because of your commitment to telling their stories, the yearbook you have created defines the school year and your school community.”
Scoggins added, “Kudos to every staff whose book is showcased. It is an extraordinary accomplishment to be celebrated as the best of the best.”
Yearbooks published by Balfour for the 2013-14 school year were evaluated in one or more of the following areas: theme development, layout design, photo content, secondary packages and cover design.
