Dorothy M. (Carver Hunter) Myshrall, 93, of Houlton, died July 8, 2015, with her family by her side. She was born February 10, 1922, in Mt. Chase, the daughter of Orlando and Bertha Carver.
She was a member of the Houlton Full Gospel Assembly. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening, and the light of her life, her grandchildren’s activities. Looking out her window, she watched the birds and the silly antics of her squirrels. She loved going to camp.
She is survived by her son, Adrian Keith Hunter and Deanne of Houlton; five grandchildren, Leanne and Mark Faulkingham, Stacy and Patrick Paradis, Joe and Amy Botting, Darcy and Dave Smith, and Adrianne and Greg McCordic; eleven great-grandchildren, Casey and Aaron, Samantha and Sarah, Ryann and Joshua, Justin, Phillip and Daniel, Kody and Dillan; one great-great-grandchild, Hunter Keith Smith; one brother, Adrian and Ruby Carver; and two special nieces, Joyce and Sharon; special friends, Jim and Delores Briggs; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents; daughters, Judith and Joanne; her first husband, Adrian Hunter; and second husband, James Myshrall; siblings, Vernon, Bud, Charlotte, Laura and Herbie.
Friends called from 2 to until time of services at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 12 at Houlton Full Gospel Assembly, Outer Court Street, with Jim Briggs and Pastor Kevin Hatch officiating. A reception followed. Interment was held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Patten Cemetary. Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Houlton.
