Late Friday evening the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 call reporting a domestic disturbance on the Drews Lake Road in New Limerick.
After an investigation by Deputies, Eurico Barbosa, 46, was charged with domestic violence assault (with priors) and domestic violence terrorizing. Barbosa has a criminal record in Massachusetts, which includes domestic violence and assaults.
Barbosa was transported to the Aroostook County Jail where he will remain until he sees a judge. No further information will be released at this time.
