League selects All-Aroostook athletes
for spring sports
The Aroostook League has announced its All-Aroostook team for the spring sports season.
In team sports such as baseball, softball and tennis, All-Aroostook players are selected by the league coaches. For track and field, selections are made based on criteria established by the league.
Athletes are awarded an All-Aroostook certificate at their spring sports awards assemblies.
The following are the 2015 selections:
Class B and C baseball: Gunnar Bondeson, Dustin Bouchard, Tyler Dombroski, Mason Huck and Mike Hunter, all of Caribou; Trevor Carter and Anthony Desjardins, both of Fort Kent; Ryan Dee, Jake Drew, Dan Howe and Billy Phillips, all of Houlton; Craig Gendreau of Madawaska; and Ben Buckley, Sam Gray, Cooper Madore, Caleb Nadeau and Andrew Paterson, all of Presque Isle.
