HOULTON – Milford “Mickey” V. Carmichael, 74, of Houlton, died July 11, 2015, at his home. He was born May 7, 1941, in Wade, the son of Milford & Bessie (McEackern) Carmichael.
Milton enjoyed 4-wheeling, fishing and spending time at the camper and was a truck driver his entire working career.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Linda (Littlefield) Carmichael of Houlton; three sons, Tim Carmichael, Kyle and wife, Karen Carmichael, and Bert Carmichael and his fiancée, Amber McGary, all of Houlton; eleven grandchildren, David, Stephanie, Richard Jr., Jesse, Corey, Alyssa, Sam, Joel, Tabatha, Braden and Crystal; eight great-grandchildren – he loved them ALL!; seven brothers and sisters, Willie Carmichael of Presque Isle, Linda Tarbox of Georgia, Jeannie Sharp of Presque Isle, Marshall Carmichael of Caribou, Rodney Carmichael of Castle Hill, Annette Keenan and Pearl Moyer, both of Florida. Milford was pre-deceased by his parents; two children, Vic and Dickie; a brother, Harley; and a sister, Verna.
A private graveside funeral service was held at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 18 at the Evergreen Cemetery in Houlton with the Reverend Randall Burns officiating. Online guest book and condolences at www. bowersfuneral.com.
