CARIBOU – Norma Theresa Bouchard, 79, wife of the late Eugene “Dale” Bouchard peacefully joined our Lord on July 14, 2015, at a Bangor hospital. Norma was born September 14, 1935, in Caribou, the daughter of Edward W. and Phoebe M. (Michaud) Corrow. She was of the Class of 1954 at Caribou High School.
Our mother was a very loving, devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the daughters of Isabella, The VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and for many years, an avid member of a bowling league. She enjoyed life to the fullest, worked side by side with her husband at their business, Dale’s Glass, for many years. She wore many hats, had many side jobs and was known for being a wonderful caregiver up until her last breath. She was involved with her children and grandchildren’s care, and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Norma was predeceased by her husband; her siblings, Lawrence, Jasper, and William Corrow; an infant sister; and a granddaughter, Amy Ketch.
She is survived by four daughters, Colleen Chabel and her husband, John of New Kensington, PA, Kim Marie Mazerolle and her husband, Robert of Newburgh, Patricia Dyer and her husband, William of Perham, Lorna “Lori” Ketch and her husband, Philip Jr. of Pensacola, FL; a son, Timothy Bouchard and his wife,
Amy of Creighton, PA; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, July 20, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Parish of the Precious Blood with The Very Rev. Jean Paul LaBrie Celebrant. Friends called 6-8 p.m. Sunday, at Lancaster Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover St., Caribou. Interment was at Old Holy Rosary Cemetery, Caribou. Donations may be made in Norma’s memory to her great-grandson Jayden’s Fund. Checks should be payable to Lorna or Phil Ketch, 4851 Genevive Court Pensacola, FL 32526.
