PRESQUE ISLE — The Presque Isle Community Center Campaign Committee has received a $25,000 donation from Katahdin Trust Company. Katahdin Trust Company President and CEO Jon Prescott presented campaign representatives with a ceremonial check last month at the Presque Isle branch location on North Street.
“Katahdin Trust is committed to supporting projects and activities that add to the quality of life in the communities that we serve and we are proud to join with many others who have pledged their support to the Presque Isle Community Center,” remarked Prescott. “We believe that this is an important project for the residents of Presque Isle and surrounding communities. This new facility will encourage healthy lifestyles, offer wellness opportunities, strengthen the economic fabric of the region, and will have a lasting impact on the quality of life for area residents of all ages for many years to come.”
Community Center Fundraising Campaign Co-Chairs Steve and Lucy Richard stated, “This donation by Katahdin Trust demonstrates their commitment to being responsive to the needs of the communities they serve and that they care deeply for these communities. With this $25,000, the Community Center will be better positioned to enhance the experience of our residents at our beautiful, new community center facility. We are very thankful for the support of Katahdin Trust Company.”
