The Historical Society building will be closed during the month of August for floor and building maintenance.
The father-son team of Corey and Josh Keiser of Presque Isle competed in the paddle boat race during the annual Fun Fest at Scopan Lake. For their efforts, the pair came in second place.

The museum will be open by appointment in September and October. To schedule a tour, stop by the museum for contact info posted on the door.
New Hours
The Town Office will run an eight-week trial with a change of office hours to conduct town business to those whose work hours coincide with our office hours. Beginning Monday, Aug. 10, the office will be open from 7 a.m. through 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 7 a.m. through 11 a.m. on Friday. Your feedback during this trial period would be appreciated.
