It’s past due time I was back on the job. I am mending well now and soon will be my “old self.”
The summer is moving right along with this month of August. People here in the County are thinking of school, harvest and work. Hope you all had or will have a good vacation.

Our swing near the front door has vanished. We have new tarring but some of us miss the swing.
Peggy Robinson has been to Florida taking care of her son’s dog while he and his wife were away. Peggy said it was hot, but she enjoyed her trip.
The Southern Aroostook Pantry 2015 schedule is 10 a.m.-2 p.m. — please do not arrive before 9:30 a.m. — on August 6-7, 20-21; Sept. 3-4, 17-18; Oct. 8-9, 22-23; Nov. 5-6, 19-20; and Dec. 3-4, 17-18. This notice was posted on our bulletin board. You must stay in your vehicle while at Southern Aroostook Pantry. You may not use the woods as a restroom. If you leave your vehicle, you will be ejected from the Southern Aroostook Pantry.

Senator Willette sent me a photo of Steve Farnham and I taken at the RSVP banquet in May. That was very kind of him and I appreciate it.
Some of the ladies are attending Overeaters Anonymous at the local hospital. There are no dues, no fees, no weigh-ins and no diets. They meet Thursday at 6:30 p.m. If you are interested please call the hospital for details.
Some of the new tenants’ names are: Rose Logue, Steven Ivey and Paula Hoffman. Our hope is that each has a long and happy stay at Ricker Plaza.
The usual Farmers’ Market people are back at their stands and are busy as usual. If you haven’t visited, please do so and invest in some good natural food.
