To the editor:
Last week I came up to the Draft Horse Show at the Northern Fair. I brought three horses and two young women for whom this would be their first time showing at a draft fair. We had a wonderful day and a great time.
I would like to thank The Northern Fair Committee, Pat’s Pizza for their sponsorship, George Allen and his wife, Judge Steve Akeley, Sarah Brooks for her great announcing, all the folks who helped with the equipment and set up the ring for the classes. Also, the other competitors who helped and gave encouragement to us and especially the spectators who showed up.
We are looking forward to coming up again next year.
