To the editor:
Congratulations to our City Council for hiring a young man who is already familiar with Presque Isle, Maine and the surrounding areas. Most of all congratulations to Martin Puckett and what he can offer to our city.
I am very pleased to finally see our City Council hire someone like Martin Puckett rather than going outside of our area and bringing in someone to help us run our great city as has been done in the past.
Mr. Puckett I look forward to when you will take over as our new City Manager, best of luck in guiding our city to a great future.
