Another successful Caribou Cares About Kids weekend is in the books and we are glad and thankful to each person who participated and came to enjoy. On the Chamber events side of things, much thanks goes to sponsors, Pines Health Services and S.W. Collins Company. The Chamber would also like to thank United Insurance/Kieffer Agency, Kiwanis, Northeast Publishing and Pines Health Services for creating other events that added to the fun.
The Chamber would also like to thank all those that came to participate in the parade. And special thanks to the Loring Job Corps and the staff at the Caribou Wellness Center for all their help. And I can’t forget Tim the Tune Man!
And it was lovely that Cary Medical Center paid special honor to our veterans with a morning ceremony at Memorial Park! A lot of work has gone into that park from volunteers who care deeply about the sacrifice of others and it is wonderful to see Cary support their efforts in this way.
This week’s Thursday on Sweden Street theme is Beach Party Night! With free State Farm sponsored beach balls to give away and the Rock Dox bringing you music ‘with a hook’, the night is sure to be a success! Sponsored by Sitel, Machias Savings Bank, Save A Lot and the City of Caribou.
The street is packed with vendors, but we still have room for more! Do you sell art, jewelry, food, or other craft items? Having a booth on Sweden Street is free.
