On July 29 the weight-loss group called the Happy Losers held their weekly meeting.
The leader, Jackie Pratt, opened the meeting, welcoming the members followed by the pledge and sometimes-dreaded roll call.
Eight members weighed in and six attended the meeting.
The person who lost the most weight for the week was Jan Greeley and runners-up were Jackie Pratt and Shirley Sides. Great job, ladies.
Reports for the week were given by the secretary and treasurer.
No program for the week as some of the members were absent.
All are welcome to the group, which meets every Wednesday at the Congregational Church Vestry in Island Falls. Weigh-in is from 8-8:30 a.m. and the meeting starts at 8:30.
