The Southern Aroostook Soil and Water Conservation District will be holding their annual conservation awards and dinner Thursday, Aug. 27, beginning 6 p.m. at the Houlton Community Golf Course country club in New Limerick. Conservation awards will be presented to Greg Schools of Schools Farms for “2015 Outstanding Conservationist” and the Nickerson Lake Wilderness Preservation board members as “2015 Conservation Partner.”
