MCEACHERN, Jacqueline A., 78, PRESQUE ISLE, at Caribou, August 9, 2015. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., on Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at Southside Cemetery in Mapleton. Arrangements are under the care of the Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou.
PRESQUE ISLE – Jacqueline A. McEachern, 78, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2015, at a Caribou hospital. She was born in Eagle Lake on July 17, 1937, the daughter of Joseph and Yvonne (Saucier) Doustou.
Jacqueline saw the best in everybody and was known as a very giving and loving person by those who knew her. She worked in the housekeeping department for 20 years at TAMC. She loved to sing and play country and western music on her guitar, and was a big fan of George Strait, listening to all of his music. She loved her family, and loved spending time with her granddaughter.
She is survived by her son, Carl Robbins, her granddaughter, Carley Robbins, and Carley’s mother, Shauna Robbins all of Presque Isle; her sister, Patricia Saucier of Presque Isle; her sisters-in-law, Jean and Gerald Jackson of Mapleton, Sally and Dennis Bolstridge of Gorham, Ruby and Tim Shorey of Alaska, and Ruth Stephenson of NH; her brother-in-law, Bruce and Marlene McEachern of Presque Isle; her aunt, Laura Saucier of Wallagrass; and her niece, Sandra and James Driscoll of Presque Isle; and several other nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ronald McEachern; her sister, Pauline Carmichael; and her brothers, Stephen and Willard Doustou.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., on Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at Southside Cemetery in Mapleton, Rev. Kevin Kierstead, officiating. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.duncan-graves.com.
