WASHBURN – Kenneth Lyle Easler, 88, passed away Saturday evening, August 8, 2015, at Cary Medical Center, Caribou. He was born on January 7, 1927, in Washburn, the son of Roy and Myrtie (Belmain) Easler.
Kenneth was a manager of Singer Company for 17 years. He later worked for Presque Isle Utilities for 16 years. His mother was disabled by a stroke, so he retired from work to care for her for six years. Then his sister, Mildred, was totally disabled by a stroke. He took care of her for the next eight years.
He leaves behind a brother, Floyd Easler of Mapleton; a sister, Ada Durost of Caribou; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth was predeceased by two brothers, Donald and Miles Easler; two sisters, Mildred Easler and Grace Walton.
A graveside service was held 10 a.m., August 11, 2015, at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle, with Rev. Larry Palmer, officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.duncan-graves.com.
