Halls of Houlton

A “hall” is usually a passage to someplace. So, whether you are in the Halls of Houlton or have once been in these halls (or in another high school), you know the importance of being prepared for what comes next.
Being prepared does not mean that you will have all the answers for your future; it means that you will know what questions to ask when you are applying for a job, the military, or admission to a school.

Your adult education program at the Houlton Higher Education Center is here to help you ask the important questions and to get answers about completing high school, financial aid for college, customer service skills for the workplace, understanding your pay stub, your bank statement, etc.
Maine Adult Education’s motto and mission is “Learning for Work and Life”. We take that statement seriously so that whether you are a potential high school “completer” in our HiSET diploma program, a potential C.N.A. or part time college student, your preparation for your “work and life” is our top priority.
Before you travel hundreds of miles to “start over” or spend thousands of dollars on a promised job or degree on the Internet, check out the free and affordable opportunities to better your life locally at your adult education program at the Houlton Higher Education Center.
