RINGING OPENING BELL
David L. Archer, a 1967 graduate of Presque Isle High School now living in New York, recently rang the opening bell with members of his team at the New York Stock Exchange as part of the festivities leading up to the 25th annual Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival, a multicultural event in Queens.

Archer, the son of Leonard and Thel Archer, is the marketing director of the annual festival and the principal of DAAssociatesPR.com, a public relations/event marketing firm based in New York. His mother still resides in Presque Isle, as do his brothers, Nick and Bruce, and his sister, Carla.
