Island Falls Senior Citizens

    The Island Falls Senior Citizens met at the municipal building on Aug. 20 with 19 members and two dinner guests present.
    After a delicious and bountiful potluck lunch, the meeting was opened by president, Rich Camire.  The flag salute and Lord’s Prayer were observed, followed by the secretary’s and treasurer’s reports.

    It was suggested that members express their thoughts in the next two meetings for our fall outing on Oct. 8.
After meeting adjournment, Bingo was played with Gloria Noyes as the big winner of the day.
Members present were Ursula Levesque, Helen Sherman, Darrell and Sherry Hartin, Paige Coville, Gloria Noyes, Rich Camire, Louise Butcher, Jeanne Clements, Mary Lawler, Mary Pipes, Dennis Boone, Verna Boone, Ronda Slauenwhite, Edith Dwyer, Judy Botting, Glady Corneal, Ellie Peck and Terry Dwyer. Guests for lunch were Patti Hartin and Melissa Walker.
The next meeting will be Sept. 3. There will be entertainment and members will play “The Game.”
Meetings are on the first and third Thursdays of each month, and new members are always welcome.
