CARIBOU — Officials at the Caribou Public Library have announced the successful completion of this year’s summer program.
The theme was “Superheroes,” and it led patrons on many different conquests, explorations and moments of enlightenment. Young patrons up to their teens explored different languages and subject areas like service animals, cities, comic strip development, abstract art, tall tales and animal shelters.
The Tween and Teen group also developed team-building skills when playing Jeopardy and Twister.
“The library’s reading log program was also triumphant this year with over 2,805 combinations of books, magazines and audiobooks read,” said Katie Wilcox-Bosse, youth services director at the CPL.
Wilcox-Bosse said participants have been exposed to new literature the library has acquired through various memorials and grant funding, and have also been pleased with the new ambiance and warm library atmosphere.
