CRYSTAL – Gilbert P. Sirois, 79, of Crystal died August 23, 2015 in Patten. He was born February 19, 1936, in Island Falls, the son of Eli & Helena (Saucier) Sirois.
Gilbert was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force from 1954-1958, serving during the Korean War and a member of the American Legion. He loved the great outdoors and enjoyed gardening, picking fiddleheads and making wine.
He is survived by his daughter, Darline and John Roy of Patten; two grandchildren, Michelle and Ricky Bright and their daughter, Katie, and Rita and Raymond Hanna and their two children, Emma and Ethan; his sister, Janet Russell of Crystal; a very special lady friend, Florence Berube and her family; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents; three brothers, Albert, Alfred and William; and two sisters, Lorena and Cecilia.
