    WASHBURN – Irene Gladys Brown, 92, passed away August 23, 2015, at Mars Hill. She was born in Pawtucket, RI, April 14, 1923, the daughter of the late Henry and Gladys (Therrian) Chabot.
    Irene had many adventures in her lifetime. Her most cherished times were those spent with her family.
    Mrs. Brown was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Brown; a son, Kenneth R. Brown; a granddaughter, Heather Desautel; and three brothers, Buddy, Jordan, and James Chabot. She is survived by two daughters, Carol Hodde of Washburn and Donna Desautel of Brooksville, FL; one sister, Joyce Morin of Cumberland, RI; two granddaughters, Christine Skinner of Wade and Lisa Desautel of Brooksville, FL; three grandsons, James Hodde of Caribou, Fredrick Desautel of Brooksville, FL, and Nicholas Brown-Benson of VA; eight great-grand-children, several nieces and nephews.
    Private graveside services will be held at the Maine Veteran’s Cemetery, Caribou, so to honor Irene’s memory, please do something special with your family today.
