What a perfect week of summer! And now Mother Nature is providing us with some much needed rain. The course is in beautiful condition, so if you haven’t had a chance to check us out, we would love to see you!
This week’s results from Pairs and Spares Golf are as follows: first place with a 31 was the team of Stu Kelley, Jarice Kelley, Jennifer Metzger and Ellen Williams; second place, with a 32, was Bev Osborn, Greg Gayne, Di Tucker and Ola Tucker; and third place, with a 33, was Jon Smallwood, Betty Smallwood, Ted Pettengill and Terry Pettengill.
Pairs and Spares golfers meet on Sunday’s at 2:30 p.m. There is a $2.50 entry fee per person. Come join us!
This Saturday marks our 50th Anniversary Field Day! This individual stroke play event will use 100 percent of the player’s handicap and starts at 10 a.m. Prizes will be awarded for both net and gross winners in Men’s A, B, C and Women’s. The cost is only $20 per member or $30 for non-member (cart not included).
Included in the price is an outdoor chicken barbecue with baked potato, corn on the cob, coleslaw, rolls and gingerbread! Call the Pro Shop to register your team and reserve carts.
