FORT KENT, Maine — The University of Maine at Fort Kent is looking for area businesses, organizations and individuals to participate in the homecoming and Scarecrow Festival parade Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015 at 11 a.m.
Line-up will be at the Fort Kent Courthouse from 10:15-10:45 a.m. At 11 a.m. the parade will wind its way down Market, East Main, and end up on Pleasant Street.
Plaques will be awarded in several categories, including most creative, best musical, best nonprofit, best business, judges’ choice, best scarecrow theme and best harvest themes.
UMFK Homecoming and the Greater Fort Kent Area Chamber of Commerce Scarecrow Festival will be Friday through Sunday, Sept. 18-20.
