Fall begins at Wintergreen
PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The After School Art Program is gearing up at the Wintergreen Arts Center in Presque Isle.
The first fall session will be water painting. Classes will meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 3-5 p.m. for six weeks in relation to the MSAD #1 calendar. Students in the school district may be bused directly from school to the Wintergreen Arts Center; parents must submit a request, in writing, to the student’s school.
A light snack will be provided prior to class beginning.
This session will be all about water-based media. Students will explore use of line, color and shape by using concepts like repetition, color fields and more to create beautiful works of art. They will learn how to paint, draw and more with watercolors, inks and dyes.
