Summer’s Over

    Students, faculty and staff at Mapleton Elementary School will be starting the new school year on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015.

As you commute to and from, please keep an eye out for more bus stops, pedestrians and bike riders. Best wishes, Mapleton Elementary, for a great year!

News from the Town Office

    The Chapman Select Board will meet today, Sept. 2, at 4 p.m. at the Town Office. The Mapleton Select Board will also meet today at 5:30 p.m. at the Town Office. Meeting agendas can be found on the towns’ webpage at www.mapleton.me.
Due to the Labor Day holiday, Monday, Sept. 7, there will be no curbside pickup for Castle Hill and Chapman; it will be picked up the following day on Tuesday, Sept. 8. The Town Office will also be closed on Labor Day Monday.

Friday Luncheon

    The Mapleton United Methodist Church will be hosting their monthly luncheon on Friday, Sept. 4 at 11:30. All are invited to stop by for a great meal. Donations accepted.

Soccer Season

    Rec soccer will be starting on Tuesday, Sept. 8. Pre-K and Kindergarten will run from 3:30-4:30 and grades 1-3 from 4:45-5:45. On Wednesday, Sept. 9, grades 4-6 will meet from 3:30-4:45. On Thursday, Sept. 10, Pre-K and Kindergarten ages are scheduled from 3:30-4:30 and first- through third-graders from 4:45-5:45.
