There will be a trade show Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015 to showcase Easton’s businesses and organizations as part of the Town’s sesquicentennial celebration.

The event will be held from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Easton Elementary School. Any Easton businesses and organizations interested in participating should contact Cheryl at the town office at 488-6652.

Senior citizens sought to discuss 9/11

Senior citizens are invited to Mrs. Ellen Trask’s classroom (Room 10) on Thursday, Sept. 10 at Easton High School to join the junior high students for a light breakfast and to interact with the grade 7 and 8 students about personal memories of Sept. 11, 2011. Many of these students were not born yet, or were too young to remember that day.
This will also be a service project, and they want to collect as many jars of peanut butter as possible through Sept. 18 for the local food pantry. Any donations can be dropped off at Easton High School.
Please contact Easton High School Office at 488-7702 if you plan on attending. Note the change in date since September rec newsletter went out. Sorry for any inconvenience.
