GASTONIA, NC and ISLAND FALLS, Maine – Roger Kevin Courson, 49, of Island Falls, Maine, passed away suddenly at home on Aug. 8, 2015. He was born Oct. 8, 1965, in Waycross, GA, the son of Ellie and Lois (Smith) Courson.
Roger was a native of Gastonia, NC, received his Associates Degree in Paralegal from the College of Lake County in Illinois, and moved to Maine 6 years ago.
He is survived by his mother, Lois Courson of Madisonville, TN; a son, Brandon and his wife, Erin Holder of Columbia, SC; two siblings, Tonia Courson of Madisonville, TN, and Michael Courson of Roanoke, VA; a granddaughter, Brooklyn Harvell of Gastonia, as well as several nieces and nephews.
