HODGDON, Maine — Global Independent Wrestling will bring a night of wrestling entertainment to Hodgdon High School 7 p.m. Saturday as a fundraiser for a local family.
Organized by Von Taggart, the entertainment event will serve as a fundraiser for Mike and Debbie Varney. According to the event’s Facebook page, Debbie Varney was diagnosed with colon cancer in September 2014. She worked in the SAD 70 school system for 23 years.
Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children under 5. Donations will also be accepted. Tickets are sold at Peg’s Place in Linneus, T&S Market in Hodgdon and Hodgdon High School, as well as at the door the night of the event.
