“Customers appreciate our friendly approach,” said Tamia Glidden, the owner since October 2007. “They like the ease of parking and know we go above and beyond the call of duty to see that their packages arrive on time and undamaged.”
The variety of services and products that Goin’ Postal offers include overnight, three-day, two-day and ground shipping with UPS, FedEx and the United States Postal Service; personal mailboxes, photocopying, faxing – sending and receiving, laminating, mail processing and custom packing. Goin’ Postal sells stamps, packing materials and offers the largest selection of box sizes in town. “We’re one-stop shopping for your shipping needs,” Glidden said.
Personal mailbox rentals at Goin’ Postal are unique in that they can receive FedEx and UPS packages in addition to mail through the US Postal Service —something post office boxes cannot offer. “We’ve seen an increase in mailbox rentals lately. People are catching on to a good thing!
“Don’t forget — you can drop off any package or express envelope with a prepaid label and save yourself a pick-up charge … that goes for businesses too. That’s a cost savings that adds up,” Glidden said.

In addition to mailing and shipping supplies, the business also carries other items such as greeting cards, books and calendars by local authors and Paul Cyr DVDs and products.
Goin’ Postal also welcomes clean boxes, packing pillows and especially packing peanuts. “We always welcome clean, recycled packing materials. It gives them another life, that the earth and their pocketbook will thank them for,” said Glidden.
