The Purple Hat Ladies met recently at the Merrill Millstream Park for a hot dog feed with lots of salads and desserts to round out the meal.
The park is a very nice place to visit with lots of tables, some with roofs to protect from sun and rain for picnics, places for children to play and lots of room for parking. Members encourage folks to try it some day.

Wannetta Townsend asked the blessing on the food. After the introductions Cindy Gray announced the September birthdays. A Tweet Quiz was conducted, with most of the questions answered correctly.
Brenda Lacostic and Arlene Friel were the winners of the monthly drawing. We continued our hand clapping exercises and two new moves were added to the routine.
Cindy Gray and Marie Gillotti had several readings that everyone enjoyed. The Knowledge of Bears game was played.
