LIMESTONE, ME & HOME- STEAD, FL – Edwina Morrell, widow of Harold L. Morrell, died September 7, 2015, at her residence in Homestead, where she had resided with her daughter, Terry. She was born April 22, 1932, to Leo and Almeda (Powers) Cote in Limestone. She married Harold November 21, 1950. They ran the family farm in Limestone and raised five children until she and Harold moved to Homestead in 1979.

She is survived by her five children, Dale H. Morrell, wife, Betty of Readfield, ME, and their children, Geoff Morrell and Erica Wade; Gayla M. Ames, husband, Kris, of Arundel, ME and their children, Aric and Craig Ames, Terry L. Pitcher of Homestead, FL; Pamela A. Bowmaster, husband, Brian, of Morrell Siding, NB, and their child, Melanie Bowmaster; and Dana L. Morrell, wife, Kim, of Caribou, ME, and their chil- dren, Kylee and Dana T. Morrell. She had 11 great- grandchildren. She was the eldest living sibling of the 22 children of Leo and Almeda Cote. Surviving are five sis- ters, MariIla Wilson of Lake Bay, WA; Tine Holt of Maple Valley, WA; Janet Cote of Buckley, WA; Brenda Coachran of Alexandria, IN; Connie Cote of Sonoma, CA; four brothers, Dana Cote of Columbia, SC, Roy Cote of Puyallup, WA; Thomas Cote of Bernardston, MA; Alan Cote of Gardiner, ME. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
