HOULTON, Maine — The Houlton Elks will hold their annual Soccer Shoot on Sunday at the Houlton High School field. Area children 13 and younger are eligible to participate.
Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. and the competition starts at 1 p.m. Participants will separated by boys and girls and compete in the following age groups: Under 8, Under 10, Under 12 and Under 14. Age is based on child’s age as of Aug. 1.
Parents are asked to bring their child’s birth certificate to verify age. Prizes will be awarded and first place in each age group advances to the district competition. Free refreshments will be served.
