OAKFIELD — Francis Kenneth Boisvert, 70, a loving husband and father, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015 in Houlton. Francis “Franny” was born June 22, 1945 in Worcester, MA, the son of the late Omar and Mae (Gover) Boisvert. He grew up in Millbury, MA and moved to Oakfield in 1980 where he homesteaded, raising 4 boys with his wife, Doris. He loved working the land and raising animals and being a member of the Oakfield community. He was a member of the Church of Latter-day Saints and had many friends inside and outside of Church. One of his favorite hobbies was fishing with his grandson, Graysen.
Francis is survived by his wife, Doris, of 35 years; five sons, Glenn & Cindy of Oakfield, Adam & Deanna of Ludlow, Joshua of Oakfield, Benjamin & Alana of Milford and Franny Jr. of Milford, MA; three daughters. Marie Boisvert and Ester Boisvert of Lakeland, FL, and Brenda Boisvert of Worcester, MA; and sister, Alice Picard of East Douglas, MA. He also leaves behind several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws and a special cousin, Roger Delmaine.
